JOB PURPOSE

We are looking for a Dry Goods Coordinator to join our Purchasing Team.  This is a responsible role as you will be working closely with our suppliers to ensure that the product ordered is received, on time and in full to the right specification, as well as minimising stock holding and wastage.

Start Date ASAP

Shift Working hours are 8.30am to 5.00pm, Monday to Friday.  Additional hours may be required to meet business and customer demands

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Confident in both verbal and written communication
  • Competent in the use of Microsoft Office: Excel, Word and Email
  • Knowledge of Butters products would be an advantage
  • Experience of Prophet would be an advantage
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to work under pressure and unsupervised
  • Proven experience of working to deadlines

Nursery Sprayer Operative

This person ideally will already have experience of using chemicals and hold a Pa1 & Pa6 certificate in spraying, along with a good knowledge of crops. This person will also support the team by carrying out a number of other nursery duties. 

Role/Skills: Have or be willing to train in Pa1 & Pa6 spraying certificate - Knowledge of crops and experience of Nursery environment - A keen interest in the growing of product - A willingness to undergo any training required for the role - Cost and budget awareness.

Shift Pattern:  Core hours will be 7.30am – 4.00pm, with a flexible approach to working hours to cover business peaks and demand.

Production Administrator

JOB PURPOSE

We are looking for a Production Administrator for our plants site.  Supporting the operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring all daily production data is entered on to the system, keeping all internal systems up to date.

Shift    Core shift will be on a 2 week shift pattern rotation:  Week 1 – Sunday to Friday, 9.15am – 6.00pm Week 2 – Sunday to Thursday, 11.45am – 8.30pm

Team Leader - Automation Department

TEAM LEADER – AUTOMATION/OUTDOOR

JOB PURPOSE

This is a responsible and fast paced role within our new automated production facility. Leading a small team of people, you will required to monitor the daily production, and efficiency levels being produced. Monitoring quality and team performance to ensure the customer receives the best possible service.

Nursery Operative

We are looking to expand our team of nursery operatives due to the expansion of our Growing division. The Growing arm of the business has been in place now for five years and has gone from strength to strength. We are, therefore, looking for enthusiastic team members to help us continue that growth.

If you are interested in this position you will require the following set of skills:

Ability to work without constant supervision

Knowledge of Butters products would be an advantage

Experience of working within a glasshouse environment would be an advantage

Experience of potting and packing and working on a production line

Experience of spacing and watering new plants

Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday, with a weekend rota, with a flexible approach to working hours to cover business peaks and demand.
