Hardware Technologist (Temporary Maternity Cover)

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our Plants Purchasing Team to cover a period of maternity leave. This role will be working closely with our suppliers to ensure that the product ordered is received, on time and in full to the right specification.  In this role you will be required to liaise with NPD, Account Managers and the Technical Team, ensuring all product meets our customer expectations. This is a temporary role covering maternity leave, which may last for up to 12 months.

Hours:  Full time, Temporary

Contract Start Date:  January/February 2018

Contract Finish Date:  January 2019

Shift:  Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5.00pm. This role requires some early starts and late finishes along with weekend cover, to meet customer demand, therefore, flexibility is required

Location:  Butters Plants Division, Kellett Gate, Spalding, Lincolnshire

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Computer literate and good understanding of Microsoft Office: Email, Word, Excel
  • Ability to communicate clearly at all levels (both verbal and written)
  • Have knowledge of Butters products
  • Solid knowledge of Production processes eg) pre-pro’s
  • Understanding of the quality processes and procedures within the business would be an advantage
  • Have confidence to talk to managers and customers on the phone or face to face
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Remain calm under pressure and the ability to work to deadlines unsupervised

B&Q Admin Support (Temporary)

We are looking for an administrator to support the Commercial Administration team during our 2018 B&Q season. This is a temporary role which may last for up to 5 months.

Closing Date:  Friday 1 December 2017

Pay:  Dependant on experience

Hours:  Full Time, Temporary

Contract Start Date:  Mid/End January 2018

Contract Finish Date:  June 2018

Shift:  Monday – Friday, 10.00am – 7.00pm (40 hours each week). This role requires some weekend cover, to meet customer demand. Therefore, flexibility is required

Location:  Butters Plants, Kellett Gate, Spalding, Lincolnshire, PE12 6EH
